Itinerary

Loch Ness Hunter

Our Loch Ness monster tour leaves from Edinburgh as we head for the Highlands, making a stop in jaw-dropping Glen Coe, before passing through Fort William, home to Britain's highest mountain, the mighty Ben Nevis. We wind our way along the Great Glen, then arrive in the village of Fort Augustus on the banks of bonnie Loch Ness.

Spend your free time in Fort Augustus searching for the Loch Ness monster ‘Nessie’ on a boat trip of the loch or take a canalside walk and grab a bite for lunch in the village. Don’t forget to bring your own reusable water bottle to fill up on our fresh tap water – probably the best in the world!

Homeward bound, we journey south with a stop in a quaint Highland town. We drive back to Edinburgh with views of the famous Forth Bridge arriving in the evening, in time to head to the pub for a well-deserved beverage or two!

As far as Scottish scenery goes, you don’t get more dramatic than the mighty Glencoe. ‘Glen’ is Gaelic for valley, and this jaw-dropper was deeply carved into the landscape during the Ice Age. From the sprawling peaks to crystal-clear rivers, Glencoe is guaranteed to blow your wee socks off.

Rannoch Moor
Rannoch Moor
Rannoch Moor is 50 square miles of wildly gorgeous nothingness. Uninhabited wilderness is difficult to come by, and the Rannoch Moor is one of very few left in Europe. Road access is limited, so our adventure is on foot. Rannoch Moor is boggy, beautiful and completely off-the-beaten-track.
Fort Augustus
Fort Augustus
On the southern tip of Loch Ness sits the pretty village of Fort Augustus, and one of the most impressive sections of the Caledonian Canal. Go in search of our famous monster with Cruise Loch Ness, or pose for a perfect picture at the Loch Ness Viewpoint.
